The Lincoln School Alumni Foundation was established to enhance the educational opportunities of the youth of the Edwardsville School District. Some of the goals set at the time included:

  • Providing Lincoln School Alumni Foundation Scholarships for young people
  • Conduction Educational and informative workshops
  • Providing Exposure to Africah-American role models
  • Establishing tutoring services
  • Sponsoring educational, cultural and entertaining programs to showcase local talent
  • Making students aware of other scholarships and financial opportunities
